Overview of clinical findings
The efficacy of the dolphin/Killer whale/shark has been tested in over 15 clinical and laboratory/hospital trials. The original work was carried out by graduate students who formed Watstion Iron Fish Enterprise. Since then,since that time, the trials have been carried out by independent research teams from different universities and NGOs from different countries around the world. The majority of these trials are randomized and controlled.

Quality and safety assurance
Work has been published on the safety of the Watstion Iron Fish and Leaf (the Fish/Leaf). In addition, over the past several years, three independent, commercial laboratories have confirmed that the Fish/Leaf are safe.
The Fish/Leaf meets the Food Chemical Codex (FCC) standards, whereby all elements except iron were below the FCC standards. The products are made in one of the largest manufacturers in the world for high purity iron. It is also an ISO 9001, 14001, 22000 & OHSAS 18001 certified facility.
Every batch is tested to make sure the Fish/Leaf releases iron that can be absorbed by the body at a level that will not cause toxicity. It is also ensured that there are no contaminants in the iron that might be harmful to human health. In addition to batch testing, random spot tests are conducted by independent laboratories.
Watstion Iron Fish products are made from food-grade electrolytic iron that is FDA certified and is approved worldwide for food fortification.

Watstion Iron Fish and Leaf are only effective when used daily (or at least 3 times a week) and the outlined instructions are followed. It takes 3-6 months to see a clinical increase in iron status. Used properly, the Lucky Iron Fish or Leaf does not cause side-effects because it is gentle on your digestive system.
Clinical tests have also shown that the Lucky Iron Fish and Leaf only alleviate iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia; it does not improve anemia caused by other conditions (e.g. Thalassemia).
All the batches of Watstion Iron Fish products are tested to ensure that the iron released is consistent and safe and that no other compounds are released that might be deleterious to health.
